Storm Sewer Continues on Washington Road

Last week the contractor completed a series of water main connections between the existing water mains and the new water mains. We thank you for your patience during these water main shut-downs and disruptions to water service. The contractor also continued to install storm sewer along the project site. With the exception of the connecting the new water main to the existing water main at Karen Lane and a few miscellaneous abandonments, all of the water main should now be completed.

Next week, the contractor will continue to install storm sewer along the project site. The contractor will also make the connection from the new main to the existing main at Karen Lane. To perform this work a water main shut-down will be required. Residents will be notified 24 hours prior to any water main shut down.

The contractor will not be working on Thurday, July 4th and is not anticipating performing any work on-site on Friday, July 5th.

The southbound detour along Washington Road between Norwood Terrace and Central Road will be in effect for the project entirety, around August 15th.

Thank you in advance for your patience utilizing the posted detour routes and during the water main shut-downs.
