Landscape Restoration On-Going

This past week, the contractor completed installing the asphalt surface layer along the entire roadway. The landscaping contractor was also on-site installing and grading topsoil in preparation for installation of sod.

Next week, the contractor will complete installing and grading the topsoil prior to sod installation. The contractor will also begin installing the sod within the parkways. The contractor has decided to install the sod now instead of waiting until the fall when the growing conditions are more favorable. The contractor is committed to watering the sod and ensuring the sod survives throughout the year and a healthy lawn is restored.

Pavement markings will be completed once the topsoil installation is completed.

The southbound detour along Washington Road between Norwood Terrace and Central Road will be in effect until the landscapers are completed and the pavement markings are installed, hopefully by the middle to end of next week.

We thank you again for your patience and understanding throughout the entire construction process. As the topsoil and sod installation progresses, the lawns will look much nicer. Thank you for your understanding and tolerating a dug-up yard during the construction season.
